A must visit! Pleasantly surprised that this grocery store had a restaurant inside! The products such as frozen kimchi dumplings & squid and produce like enoki mushrooms were incredible. The restaurant was 5/5 delicious! I had Soon Dubu jjigae (soft tofu stew) with seafood and squid salad. I recommend this over and over. Food was comforting and staff were polite.
If you’re in the mood to eat delicious Korean food in the area, I absolutely recommend trying out this place! We stopped in to the market to get some essentials to make Korean barbecue at home. We had no idea that there was also a restaurant attached! And since we were there around lunchtime, it was a no-brainer to try the food. And it did not disappoint! The market has essentials to make Korean food staples. About the only thing that wasn’t available was soju, which I understand because they would need a liquor license. They did have everything else we were looking for: samgyeopsal, ggaenip, kimchi, gochu garu, ssamjang, etc. Despite being a small market, it was well stocked. We ordered a variety of dishes to try. They were all, without exception, delicious and well prepared. We ordered: gimbap, japchae, bulgogi, and haemul pajeon. They served us boricha, which is my favorite and it was a nice surprise. My favorite dish was definitely the haemul pajeon; it was flavorful, perfectly crisped, and packed with seafood. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The ambiance was peaceful. Restroom was clean. We live two hours away and I would totally make the drive to eat here again!
Literally everything you need here (except beer) for korean bbq night or shabu shabu at home! Or just a grip of everyday korean snacks if needed. Also the Korean restaurant in the back, all frsh to order and delicious as can ever be! I go here once a week minimum.
Great bulgogi/korean food and nice selection of Korean/Japanese/Asian snacks. They gave free Barley tea too which was nice
First time stopping in. Should have sooner. Took a walk through the market and found a few good buys including a new clever. Check out and walked across to the restaurant. My daughter and I shared the spicy bulgogi, fried dumplings, and a side of squid salad. The service was great and very friendly. Answered several questions about spices and cooking. Will be returning to shop the market and eat
I've been eating here for years as well as shopping for authentic Korean items. It's the real deal! Everything is great. They make the Kimchi fresh every Tuesday.
